Life-Size Traditional Musician Ensemble Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 240cm, showing a double bassist, violinist, and two singing children with sheet music.
Life-Size Traditional Musician Ensemble Bronze Sculpture - 240cm $79,52600
Description

The Life-Size Traditional Musician Ensemble Bronze Sculpture stands 240cm tall and presents four figures mid-performance: a double bassist on the left, a violinist with bow raised on the right, and two children at the centre sharing an open sheet music book, mouths parted in song. The composition locks the eye in a slow circuit, each figure pulling equal weight.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Produced using the lost-wax casting method, this work is rendered in solid cast bronze with a warm brown patina that deepens in the recessed folds of clothing and around the instrument bodies. The double bass, violin, and open music book are reproduced with the same precision as the figures themselves: strings, bow hair, and printed stave lines all present in the casting. Period costume details, the boy's bow tie, the girl's pigtails, are resolved with the kind of surface clarity that only hand-finishing achieves. Tonal variation across the patina shifts the work through amber, chestnut, and near-black depending on the light source, giving the ensemble a different quality at dawn, midday, and dusk.

At 240cm and 1,600kg, this is a monument-scale installation. It suits the entrance of a concert hall, the atrium of a hotel, a civic plaza, a private estate lawn, or any open space that benefits from an anchoring focal point. The warm bronze tones sit comfortably against stone, brick, mature planting, pale render, and dark hardwood alike. Certified for both indoor and outdoor placement, the alloy is weather-stable and requires only periodic waxing to maintain the finish over decades.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

The standard patina is a rich warm brown with darker recessed tonal variation, as shown. Alternative finishes include verdigris, natural verde, dark espresso, and museum gold. Scale can be adjusted for interior height restrictions or to commission a larger civic installation. For commissions inspired by the work of specific figurative sculptors, contact us before ordering so we can advise on technical feasibility and pricing.
