Monumental Classical Tiered Bronze Fountain by Giant Sculptures with reclining draped maidens, cherubs, scalloped basins, and bird finial on a plain background.
Monumental Classical Tiered Fountain Bronze Fountain (Maidens and Cherubs) - 700cm $283,98500
Description

A Monumental Classical Three-Tiered Bronze Fountain, standing seven metres tall and weighing 6,500 kilograms, this is a commission-grade centrepiece designed for public plazas, grand estate gardens, and large-scale civic or private landscape projects. Four reclining draped female figures anchor the wide circular base basin, their bronze drapery folded with the precision of Beaux-Arts academic sculpture. Above them, scalloped basin edges carry foliate, fish, and dolphin relief work in full relief before the eye travels upward to a cluster of cherubs gathered at the central column. At the apex, a bird finial crowns the composition. Water cascades from tier to tier in continuous flow, animating the entire structure with movement and sound.

Cast Bronze, Lost-Wax Production, Long-Term Outdoor Patina

Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method, each tier, figure, and relief panel is hand-finished before the surface receives a dark, warm-brown patination that deepens over time into the kind of verdigris-influenced finish seen on the great European public fountains. The bronze is dense, structurally sound for continuous water exposure, and built to perform in all climates without protective coating. At this scale, the material weight alone, 6.5 tonnes of cast bronze, gives the piece the permanence a public or estate setting demands.

Designed for plazas, civic squares, large country-house forecourts, hotel courtyards, and major landscape commissions, this fountain requires a prepared foundation and water-supply infrastructure as part of installation planning. We work with buyers and their project engineers through the full commissioning process to ensure structural and hydraulic requirements are met on site.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include warm brown, traditional verde, and black. If you have a specific project brief, contact us before ordering so we can scope the engineering, foundation, and delivery requirements correctly.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
