Monumental Classical Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 320cm, shown rearing on hind legs with flowing mane and tail against a plain background.
Monumental Classical Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture - 320cm $159,60700
Description

The Monumental Classical Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 320cm, commanding any space with its explosive upward energy. Every sinew, tendon, and curve of the anatomy is rendered with the fidelity of a master equestrian study: front legs raised and bent mid-air, mouth open mid-cry, mane and tail caught in a single frozen moment of kinetic force.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, a process that captures the finest surface detail before each section is hand-chased and refined by skilled foundry craftspeople. The result is a dark brown-black patinated bronze sculpture with a subtle surface sheen that reads as both antique and immediate. The depth of tone shifts with changing light, from near-black in shadow to warm amber at the ridgelines of the musculature. As a large-scale cast bronze horse statue, the piece carries a physical authority that no reproduction material can match: the weight, the density, and the permanence are intrinsic to the medium itself.

At 320cm tall and 1,200kg, this sculpture is scaled for landmark placement. It suits the forecourt of a private estate, a formal garden axis, a corporate campus entrance, or a grand interior atrium with sufficient ceiling height. The dark patina reads cleanly against stone, pale gravel, clipped lawn, or marble flooring. It requires a prepared concrete or stone foundation to support its weight and an experienced installation team for final positioning.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include the classic dark brown-black shown, a mid-tone antique green verdigris, warm natural bronze, and cold black. Scale can be adjusted to suit your specific site requirements, from a reduced garden version to an even larger monumental installation. For commissions inspired by the work of specific equestrian sculptors, contact us before ordering to discuss your brief and we will confirm feasibility, revised timelines, and final pricing.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
