The Monumental Charging Bull Bronze Sculpture stands at 200cm tall, presenting a life-size bull caught in full forward charge: head dropped, horns levelled, weight pressing through the front legs, tail raised in tension. At 900kg of solid cast bronze, this is a piece that commands space and silence in equal measure.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, every surface of this large bronze bull statue reveals the hand of the craftsman. Fine hair texture runs across the shoulder and flank, individual muscle groups are rendered with anatomical precision, and the hooves carry etched hoof-line detail that speaks to the level of finish applied at every scale. The dark black-brown patina is built up through successive chemical treatments and hand-rubbing, leaving raised surfaces with a subtle warmth that shifts under changing light. This is traditional bronze casting at monumental scale, not a reproduction but a fully resolved sculptural work.
Mounted on a broad, low-profile rectangular stone plinth that grounds the composition without competing with it, the piece suits both interior and exterior settings. Outdoors, it holds its own against open landscape, courtyard stonework, or formal garden axes. Indoors, it anchors a double-height atrium, a grand entrance hall, or a corporate reception with immediate authority. The dark bronze reads cleanly against pale stone, warm timber, and both contemporary and classical architectural palettes.
We offer the full range of bronze patination options: classic dark brown, verdigris green, warm golden-brown, and custom tones on request. The sculpture can also be commissioned at a different scale to suit a specific site or architectural context. If you would like to discuss a bespoke finish, a modified plinth specification, or a commission inspired by the work of a particular artist, please contact us before ordering so we can prepare an accurate quote and timeline.
