It stands around 96cm including its base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eA Twisting Black and Silver Spiral Form\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe spiralling shape is modelled and cast by hand, then finished so the silver glints along the leading edge of each turn. The contrast between the matte black body and the metallic edge gives the piece real movement. Every casting is worked individually.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt suits a console, a plinth or a corner where its vertical turn can be seen in the round. The dark, metallic palette lends a contemporary edge to a living space or study. This piece is finished for indoor display.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eHandmade to Order, Fully Customisable\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery piece is handmade to order, with a standard lead time of around 3–4 weeks, or 5–6 weeks for bespoke commissions. Nothing about Vortex is off-the-shelf: it is made once you order it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. The fibreglass work is cast by hand, which is what gives the surface its character. If black is not right for your scheme, this form also works in matte white, warm bronze or deep grey.
