The matte black is lifted by a single vivid orange sweep that carries the eye through the piece. The contrast of rough and smooth is worked by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt suits a console, a shelf or a desk where its mix of texture and colour can be seen closely. The black and orange palette adds a bold accent to a neutral room. The fibreglass work is cast by hand, which is what gives the surface its character. Beyond black, it is often ordered in matte white, warm bronze or deep grey.
