The mane spirals, the harness and the dragon panels of the plinth are all worked by hand, and the surface is left matte so the grey reads evenly in daylight.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt two metres this lion is an entrance piece, best placed where it can be seen straight on from a distance. It suits gravel, stone paving or a raised plinth bed, and granite weathers particularly well in exposed positions.
