The marble is a cool uniform white with a fine crystalline grain, matte honed, and the beading is cut individually rather than run with a moulding tool.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA roundel needs to be read as a circle, so it wants a wall where it can sit alone: a chimney breast, a stair half-landing, the end of a short corridor, a nursery or a garden wall panel.
