The sides of both are worked into deep vertical undulations that catch light as broad bright bands, which is what stops a single-colour pair from reading as one lump. Over each section sits its own glass top, cut to follow that section's outline exactly, and the two tops meet along the join. Making a glass sheet follow a wandering line is the slow part; a rectangular top would have taken a fraction of the time and lost the whole idea.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSet before a sofa, the green sections make one low table, and they work apart as well as together. The undulating sides read from a seated position and the glass tops from above. A plain floor serves it: pattern comes through both the glass and the resin. Each section takes two people and the glass travels separately. Most of it is the interlocking cut. You settle three things. Both sections are offered in other tints and need not match each other, the glass is available smoked, and the assembled length is quoted to your figure. A single section can be supplied alone. The assembled length and the overall height follow your figures. The group is made as one so that the green depth through the walls reads the same on each piece. The crate holds the glass tops and the interlocking edges away from every face, and four people bring it in.
