The colour does the modelling inside that outline, dark where the head and shoulders turn and paler down the skirt, so the gown reads as falling fabric rather than as a solid. The casting is polished over its whole surface, which lets the far side of the skirt show faintly through the near one.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt belongs on the floor beside a doorway or at the end of a run, since the disc lifts it barely at all and the height does the rest. Give it a pale wall, since a dark ground swallows the green into a silhouette. Light from behind opens the skirt right through, and light from in front gives back one flat green face.
