A tinted body collects its colour in the fold and gives it up at the edge, which is what makes drapery read as fabric rather than as a solid: the thin parts let go and the deep parts keep it. Frosted to a satin over the whole of it, with the edges taken thin, so it holds a soft glow and never a highlight.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt suits a console or a sideboard, set square to the room. It wants a dark wall, or the white edges have nothing to read against. One source from above runs down every fold; light from the front flattens the green into one tone.
