The surface is worked to a fine even stipple, pale white going grey in the hollows, which is what stops the shirt reading as a slab.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis suits a children section, a lawn plot or a cremation plot, and because it is read from the front it can be set against a hedge or a wall without losing anything. The carved ball sits at the foot, so keep planting back from that side.
