The elephants below are the deepest carving and anchor everything above them. The stone is a warm beige, worked matte, and the figures are kept crisp at small scale.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA freestanding carved monument suits a temple garden, a meditation garden, a hotel courtyard, a museum forecourt or the end of a long walk.
