The colour is rich in the broad sweep at the foot, where the resin folds over on itself, and thins to a pale, clear blue as the body rises, so the crest at the top looks as light as spray. The blend is gradual and seamless, and each piece varies a little. A full polish brings the blue up to a wet, glossy finish. It brings the calm of open water to a room, and it suits a bathroom especially well.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA side table, a desk or a shelf suits it, in a bathroom, a bedroom or a living room. It loves white walls and natural light, and it sits comfortably beside glass, silver and pale timber. Daylight from one side makes the skirt glow; a spotlight above picks out the curl of the crest. The same figure is made clear and marbled in black, each sold separately. It comes on its block in one crate, and it is placed by one person, who lifts from the base and keeps the figure upright.
