The waves are then cut as long unbroken rolls rather than separated locks, which is what carries the eye round the turn. The stone runs a salmon pink with paler beige passages and thin darker veins.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA couchant lion of this length reads along its side, so it wants to be passed rather than approached: a terrace run, the length of a border, a wall top, the side of a drive.
