Coral is also a forgiving colour for a portrait, warm on the skin of the face and deep in the hollows of the knot, which keeps the head lively from across a room. The coral holds its own against a busy or dark wall, and it warms a cool room. The coral can be taken deeper toward terracotta or lighter toward peach, or the resin left clear. The socle can be squared off or given more mouldings, and the cut at the chest can be moved to show more of the drape. The marbling can be made stronger or left out for an even coral, and size is cut to order. It ships upright in a fitted crate and is a two-person lift, with nothing to assemble.
