Four of the loops reach the ground as feet and the others crowd together beneath the glass.

Copper-Rose Links Under Clear Glass

The tint is a warm copper with rose in it, carried in the resin rather than laid on its surface. Each loop deepens to a rich brown where two cross and pales to a pink glow along its outer curve, and that change of tone is how one link can be followed into the next through the tangle. Every loop is a smooth closed ring without a visible seam, thick enough to look soft and heavy at once. The glass above is clear and plain-edged, a quiet plane that leaves the warm knot to carry the piece.

This generous table is meant for the centre of a sitting area, and since the base is the reason to own it, the floor beneath should stay clear and plain rather than disappear under a patterned rug. The copper warms a grey or white room and sits easily beside walnut, leather and brass. Indoor use only.

The Copper Tint, the Glass and Delivery

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The copper can be taken deeper towards bronze or paler towards rose, and the number of links can be changed so the knot sits fuller or more open. A top of another diameter can be cut, or the glass tinted smoke or bronze in place of clear. Tables ordered at the same time have their links tinted in one batch so the copper matches from table to table. The base travels in one crate and the glass in a second, each fully supported, and two people put the table together in the room where it will stand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Copper-rose links knotted beneath clear glass place this table among our art furniture; the warm knot belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a walnut-and-brass room among our indoor sculptures.

Specification

Height

32cm

Diameter

100cm

Material

Tinted Cast Resin with a Glass Top

https://giant-sculptures.com/products/copper-rose-linked-base-cast-resin-and-glass-coffee-table-100cm
