The slopes fall away smoothly to long, flat feet at either end, and fine contours run across the faces where the resin was worked by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eTwo Summits Set Close in Clear Resin\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eTwo summits close together are harder to model than one, because each has to stay itself without the two reading as one lumpy crest. Here the higher peak is given a steeper flank on the side away from its neighbour, and the saddle between them is cut deep enough to separate them clearly against the light. The casting is only a few centimetres from front to back, so all of this is done in profile; the surface between the outlines is smoothed and lightly contoured, and each contour shows as a fine bright edge.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLaid along a long shelf or across a desk it takes almost no room from front to back, and books or pictures behind it stay in view. Backlight from a window brings the two outlines up sharply, and dark wood or stone under it makes the clear resin read at its crispest. It belongs wherever a still, horizontal shape is wanted.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eTwo Summits, a Tint, and a Padded Carton\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eBuild times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The saddle can be cut deeper or eased, the summits drawn closer together or further apart, and the body tinted through in sea green, pale blue or honey, or shaded from clear to colour toward the crests. A frosted finish is also made and softens the outline to a mist. It is packed flat between sheets of foam in a carton and lifted out with a hand under each end.
