Casting so long a clear slab without a single trapped bubble is what sets the schedule. The legs stand in a line beneath rather than at the corners, which puts the load along the slab's own length, and the four of them are brought to one level together before it is bedded down.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe room has to allow for chairs pulled out on either side of it. The two ring centres fall at different points along the top, so where the table is placed decides which of them people sit around.
