The arrises are taken up sharp rather than eased, so the block reads as cut rather than moulded. The plume is read through the curve of the wall, so it needs a clear background and a light that is not directly behind the viewer. Both the block width and the block height are yours to set. For a matching group, the position of the plume in the block is set once and carried through it. Its polished wall and top arris are wrapped clear of the crate sides, and it is lifted by two people, never by one.
