The scoop is taken out gradually rather than pressed, so the thickness stays even through the curve; a thin place reads as a shadow in clear acrylic long before it becomes a weakness. The knuckles are not decoration but the reason the legs work: a taper carried straight into a shell arrives at a point, so each leg is swelled where it lands and meets the underside across a wider foot instead. Each chair travels as one piece, boxed and sleeved, and comes out of the box as a two-person carry; nothing is put together on site.
