Its long edges are thick and glassy, with an irregular, broken line where the texture meets them. Seen from straight above, the panel almost disappears and the ripples read as a field of moving light; seen at a low angle, the streaks draw out and the surface looks like water caught as it runs. The edges keep their own glassy, uneven profile rather than being squared off, which shows the depth of the clear acrylic along its whole length. The price is for one panel, so two or more laid end to end or side by side are ordered panel by panel, and on commission the panel can be cut to another length or width for a particular surface. The ripple can be made bolder or finer, and the acrylic can be tinted smoke, blue or amber in place of clear. Two people carry it flat, one at each end with hands spread beneath it, and it is set down level in a single movement rather than slid into place.
