A soft plume of grass and fine branching sprigs of tiny orange flowers rise from a bundle of dark stems, and glossy brown seed pods lie near the top and at the foot.

A Scattered Meadow Posy in Tall Clear Resin

Its broad front and narrow sides are brought to a glassy polish, and the imported clear resin keeps every corner crisp. The flowers sit at slightly different depths, so the posy has a gentle sense of space rather than lying flat against the face. The daisies keep their fringed petals and the texture of their centres, the apricot leaves show a fine central vein, and the seed pods have a varnished sheen. With so many dried elements in play, no two posies come out the same, and the colours vary slightly from block to block.

This is a piece for a sideboard, a console or a deep bookshelf, where its colours can be enjoyed from across a room. At 36cm it stands well on a hall console, where anyone passing takes it in at a glance. It brightens a neutral room and looks at home beside ceramics, books or a vase of fresh flowers. Indoor use only.

Your Posy Block, Bespoke Choices and Delivery

Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The order is for one block, which we begin making once it is placed. As a bespoke commission the posy can be gathered in one colour family, such as whites and creams or reds and golds, it can hold leaves and grasses alone, and other sizes can be made. It ships boxed in thick padding, ready to take its place on a sideboard as soon as it is out of the box. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Dried daisies, button heads and apricot leaves scattered through clear resin bring a meadow's colour to our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Specification

Height

36cm

Width

22cm

Depth

7.5cm

Material

Imported Clear Resin with Dried Flowers, Leaves and Seed Pods
