Two tips rising side by side read as a single summit from across a room and as two rock spires up close, so the piece alters as you walk towards it. The faces below are cut long and steep and polished hard, which sends bright lines running down from each tip and makes the body look loftier still. The rough shoulder on the right is left more broken, so the eye has somewhere to rest after the climb.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA clear mountain this steep reads best at eye level, where the two tips stand against the wall behind them. A console, a deep shelf or a sideboard in a hall suits it, and a strongly coloured wall makes the polished edges stand out. Keep the right side clear so the shoulder can be seen from across the room.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003ePolish, Tint and Getting It There\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eOurs is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The resin can be tinted, gold leaf can be added, and the faces can be frosted to give a softer, ice-like surface. The crown can be drawn with a single tip if a calmer outline is preferred, and the shoulder can be carved smoother. It goes out upright in a braced crate, both tips sleeved and the rough shoulder in foam, and it comes out by the foot between two people.
