The legs are folded from stainless plate, mirror-polished by hand through successive grades, and bonded into rebates cut into the underside so no fixing is visible from any angle. It works along a run of wall where a solid bench would close the space down, because you can see the floor through the seat. Because a three-metre slab is a two-person lift and will not corner tightly, we ask for door and stair measurements before despatch, and the piece ships in a purpose-built crate with the legs detached.
