Two tops carry a rust-brown metal finish and the third is smoked translucent resin, all on black pedestals with rounded, irregular sides.

Three Pebble Tops Set at Three Heights

The tops are drawn as soft pebbles, each with its own outline, and edged in a black rim that wraps the face like a smoothed stone. The two metal tops are finished to a rust-brown patina that varies across the surface, and the smoked top is cast in translucent resin so the pedestal below shows faintly through it. The pedestals are formed in fibreglass and finished black, each with rounded, irregular sides, and their heights are set so the three tops pass over one another without touching.

Set together in front of a sofa, the three tables read as one low composition, and they can be drawn apart when more surface is needed. The smoked top shows what lies beneath it, so it suits a pale rug or floor. The metal tops hide marks well, which makes them the ones to take a tray or a lamp. Indoor use only.

The Three Heights, the Patina and the Set

Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The three tables are sold together as one set. The patina on the metal tops can be taken darker or lighter, the smoked resin can be cleared or tinted another colour, and the pedestals can be finished in a colour other than black. Their heights can be set to order, as long as each top still clears the one beneath it. Each table travels in its own padded crate, and two people set the group in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Three pebble tops nesting at different heights give our art furniture a set of low tables; their soft outlines suit our organic sculptures, the black pedestals our fibreglass sculptures.

Specification

Large Brown Table

–

Small Brown Table

–

Smoked Table

–

The Set, Arranged

H50 x W180 x D180cm

Material

Patinated Metal and Smoked Cast Resin Tops on Fibreglass Pedestals
