Every other version of this figure throws its flare out past the stone it stands on. This one does not, which is why it can go on a crowded surface, and the colour is arranged to match: deepest where the body is widest, easing as it narrows. Blue that eases as the body narrows means the widest part of the figure is also the strongest colour, so mass and colour make the same argument instead of competing.
