A hollow body holds that gradient evenly on all six sides, where a solid one would darken at its thickest point. The swirls pressed into each face are polished over, and their ridges catch light as pale rings over the blue, brightest where the colour is deepest. The wall is strong enough to sit on, and the blue glows when a window or a lamp stands behind it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlue gives it a cool note in a warm room: beside an oak or walnut sideboard, in a bathroom, or next to a window where the light will find the colour at its foot.
