Broad swirls of black and opaque white run through the slab and stop short of blending, so the boundaries between pigment and clear material are hard rather than graded. The same pattern continues into the legs, which are flat blades rather than columns precisely so they can carry it: a round leg would show a narrow sliver of the pattern, a blade shows a whole section of it. The swirls run through the legs as well as the top, so it should stand clear rather than tucked beside a sofa where the legs cannot be seen. Most of it is the ink swirls. Three things can change. The pigments are open and can be replaced with any two colours. How much of each goes in is also a choice, though where the swirls fall is not. Whatever top diameter you need is quoted. Neither the top diameter nor the overall height is fixed. Put the whole order in at once and the path the black swirls take carries across every piece. The packing protects the blade legs; moving it wants two people.
