The mottled red and grey crystal shows through both finishes. The paws are hammered last, after the heart beside them is polished and masked.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt this height the piece belongs in a children section or on a small lawn or cremation plot, and the red granite reads warm where a black or grey stone would not. The polished heart mirrors whatever is opposite it, so an open aspect works better than a wall.
