The stone is a warm ivory buff with grey-brown veining, and a coherent hairline crack runs through the field.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA panel of this scale and subject belongs somewhere formal and tall: a grand staircase, a gallery, an orangery, a livery hall or a state dining room.
