The colour is part of the resin and cannot wear or chip off, and every surface is polished to a clean gloss that keeps the amber bright rather than muddy.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStand it on a console or a sideboard in a hallway or a living room, where people will see it from the front and both sides. A white or cream wall shows the amber warmly, and dark panelling makes it smoulder. Evening lamplight suits it particularly, and morning sun from a window beside it lifts the honey colour. It is crated standing, the block packed beneath it, and two people should lift it, one holding the block and one the waist.
