Its blue sibling is transparent and is therefore read as a depth. A cream body is not, so this one arrives as a solid thing turning, and the amber along its folds is read as an edge rather than as an accumulation. An amber edge against a cream body means the material shows its thickness at every fold, and the piece is read as a solid turning rather than as a transparent one.
